Professional research journals offer a variety of publishing opportunities to graduate students and researchers. Unfortunately, these opportunities are frequently not open to undergraduates. Our goal at California Engineer is to offer such publishing opportunities to undergraduate engineers from the University of California system. We strive to create a professional quality publication and to encourage UC students from all disciplines to submit articles on engineering-related topics to our magazine.

Whether an engineering student plans to attend graduate school or seek full-time employment, publishing experience is an excellent distinction. Therefore, we are reaching out to students from all UC campuses to encourage them to submit their work, which can range from a technical writing course assignment to a paper detailing the author's own active research.

For details regarding submissions procedures, see the Submissions page.
